The media has covered the Moore’s Ford Lynching extensively since the event took place in July of 1946. In subsequent years, coverage was focused on pending investigations by the FBI, the GBI and local law enforcement with special emphasis on discovering the identities of the perpetrators and bringing them to justice.
Over seven decades, there have been numerous investigations by the FBI, the GBI and local law enforcement agencies. But to date, no one has ever been arrested, indicted or convicted.
